Paddington 2 2017
Same as the first just even better
The family's new interest coming all circle was great. Hugh Grant should just play camp villains for the rest of his life and everything prison related was great.I will be dressing up as knuckles in the future at some point.
The film did lose all its positive traits right at the end though when it had me blubbering like a baby as that's not allowed.
Miles has upgraded to pointing a gun at…

Paddington 2014
Bad things happening to this poor bear should be illegal. Never seen sadder eyes in my life.
Thought the family dynamic was great and really well written, the mum was so sweet.
The hygincs were really funny and well done and the British humour was so dumb but so brilliant.
Only thing that let it down a tad was I think the villain was a little weak even if the way her story ended was great.
Miles definitely isn't holding holding a knife to my throat while I write this review.
Really heartwarming film, will definitely watch again

Mulholland Drive 2001
Managed to capture a perfect representation of unexplainably dread ridden dreams while showing a master class in how character perspective can warp a narrative.
The camera work and direction mixed with the purposefully disjointing editing/storytelling pulls it all together to bring you into this fever dream of a film.
Definitely a film that will get better and better rewatch to rewatch.

Megalopolis 2024
Watchmen if it was injected with Ancient Rome with better acting and the cheese turned up to 11.
The film felt like a comic book fever dream and I loved almost every moment of it. Looked amazing as well.
Did find it hard to track at times, some of the cgi was questionable and Shia's sex scene was a bit of a hard watch but it was class apart from that.
