The weakest in the series but still a top-notch children’s film. It’s slow moving and some scenes feel stilted but it ends on a strong note. Kenneth Branagh makes me laugh! “Fawkes the Phoenix” is a glorious musical cue.

“It’s Levi-O-sa, not Levi-o-SA!!” Re-visiting after quite a few years and it’s just as magical! Filled childlike wonder, just the right amount of darkness, and the kids are adorable. The Mirror of Erised scene still gets me. Incredible beginning to the series!!
