  i wasnt expecting much from this when i turned it on, but it still has no right being this good of a watch. horrible group of men slowly disintegrating through guilt and paranoia, dying badly and in such pleasing ways, and - youll probably never see me say this again - fantastic little girl in the mix. delightful

  hm. as a supernatural horror, it was decidedly lacking in impact and actual horror of any sort. as a religious familial abuse tale, it felt shallow and unexplored to me. there was something there, it just needed to be teased out of the noise. the desaturated puritan color palette didnt help either, it mostly read as bland as opposed to bleak.

  basically it didnt work for me.
