Imagine Spike Lee's Chi-Raq only starring an Atlanta rapper dressed as a green furry, random Atlanta strippers, and shot with the kinetic energy of a Safdie brothers movie on a $1.99 budget, and you have The Grinch That Stole Bitches.

Extra half star for the title.

    Kung Fu Mahjong 2

This movie is pretty bizarre even for a sports comedy about Mahjong (with a dash of Kung Fu added in for flavor), and my opinion might be colored by the fact that I watched this movie still hopped up on my new found obsession over writer/director Wong Jing after watching The Magic Crystal, but this was a good time.

I didn't understand a lick of it. I can't speak Cantonese, I didn't have an English subtitle track, and I don't know how to play Mahjong, but, it was still pretty funny.

Automatic three stars for being genuinely entertaining despite near complete incomprehension.

Just to give you an idea on what unique insanity To Boldly Flee is, for some reason this movie keeps getting removed from Letterbox'd. It's unclear why this piece of shit film keeps getting removed, but it most likely has to do with the never ending ripples of the internet drama that surrounds the filming of this fucking thing.

Seriously, Google it if you're really curious. It's not worth the brain rot that will follow, but it does somewhat explain…

Canadian Bruce Campbell (Paul Gross) does a decent job being Bruce Campbell in this very Canadian western. Cute and innocuous, and fairly quick (89 minutes, but more like 80), you probably won't remember it tomorrow, but that's OK, it's fun.

Seriously though, Paul Gross is the best Bruce Campbell since Bruce Campbell.
