  much better than Queer, far more in sync with Burroughs. bugs and talking anus’ galore.

  i love noir where the protagonist is severely cognitively impaired or high as a kite. 

  minus half a star for the scene where Cronenberg spells out that it’s all a hallucination. slightly cowardly, but only slightly.
