I was so agitated and bored throughout this whole movie, which is really rare for me. It was 90% exposition. It dragged so much. The script was terrible, the characters were boring. There was no subtlety to the political commentary, it was so overly explicit in it's messages. Animation 10/10, incredible work of art. One of the few films that nails the cyberpunk aesthetic (when it's not cringely copying the sex pistols branding). Soundtrack, very well done. Storyline is the same old marvel meta bullshit with some woke shit thrown in, same old, same old. A few genuinely interesting themes brought up and as usual, not deeply explored. A pro anarchy, pro cop movie? A movie against positive authority, okay. Worst ending ever. If you eat up the MCU trash, you'll eat this up good but otherwise torrent it and watch for the innovative animation.
