  I started off liking this but felt myself getting less invested in the characters as the movie went on. Also I couldn't understand half of what Bradley Cooper's character was saying. Great performance by Gaga though.

  Honestly I don't know what people are expecting going into this movie. Jupiter Ascending is not The Matrix or Star Wars, it's not the start of the next great sci-fi franchise. It's ridiculous and campy (and very pretty) and that's what makes it fun. If you don't go into this movie expecting some storytelling magnus opus, you'll find an entertaining little hot mess.

  I randomly came across this documentary on Netflix and clicked play, thinking I'd end up turning it off after 10 minutes, but that was not the case. While I am not a religious person at all, I love coming-of-age stories, and Lior's drew me in right away.
