    Shaun of the Dead

    ★★★★

Some of the best comedy of all time, but some pacing issues. Things move forward WAY too fast. I prefer that to pacing that drags but it's an issue regardless. If we had time to understand the weight of what's happening, the comedy might even be elevated. But instead characters will die and we just move on because the story demands it. However don't let this take away from the fact that this is some of the funniest stuff in film. The TV reveal still gets me every time.

    Baby Driver

    ★★★★½

Baby Driver is a film that is easy to fall in love with. The main character is incredibly likeable, the chemistry between the love interests is honestly one of the best parts of the movie, and the action sequences and chase scenes are endlessly creative and impressive. However, a couple times I felt that style took priority over substance. Some characters make decisions that don't really make sense, the violence feels a little overkill at times, but nothing too bad.

    Sand Sharks

    ★★★

Listen, sand sharks is an experience, and that's really all I can say.

The effects are godawful, the acting is laughable, the story is an absolute mess (and also completely copied and pasted from Jaws. What, were you expecting something different?), and that's why I love it. You never know what to expect.

However, I will say that as far as good bad movies go, this is not one of the best. Considering how consistently funny movies like The Room…
