Insidious: The Red Door 2023
Pretty much nails the definition of a pointless sequel. Half-assed writing, unprofessional directing (it is a directorial debut after all), unsatisfying resolution. Every scene feels rushed and meaningless by the time they’re over leading to a mess of a movie which relies on jumpscares and creature designs to carry the audience’s attention.
