I liked this way more than I thought I would. I expected the acting and music to be great from what I’d heard, but I actually thought the pacing was spot on imo (which surprised me), it was really well edited, fantastic choreography (except I kinda wish Ari danced better but also that isn’t rly Glinda I guess?), and didn’t overdo the cgi too much— it was never gonna be understated lol

I was so sad when this movie ended. It was so much more complex and almost sinister than I was expecting! I didn’t know what to think about any of the characters, but I knew I wanted more time with them.
They got awkward but exciting high school sexual tension SO right I hadn’t thought about that in years lol. The hotel scene was so good.
I also loved how it towed the line between camp and not camp. Though…

Chadwick and viola killed it as usually. She is truly unparalleled I swear to god. Some of the other actors were a little underwhelming.
