A found footage mockumentary centred on a Egyptian cult is quite a novel concept that lured me into this darling indie.
The storytelling is very very confident for a mostly two hander film with a tiny budget, making you think you know what you are getting before shifting gears. There is a character focus that I really respect, carried by a pair of performances that say a lot without stating anything.

Schlock master Paul W.S. Anderson takes a straight fantasy short story from George R.R. Martin and transforms it into a post-apocalyptic western fable.
Yeah, that makes sense.
Jokes aside, he beefs up the story quite well and slightly tweaks the relationships to form a highly enjoyable romp with solid lead performances. He also uses greenscreen better then most major studio flicks, creating a visually arresting aesthetic, even if the budget is clearly stretched at points.
