    Even attempting to analyze this feels silly considering how focused the movie is on art, experience, and the hubris of criticism. Having said that, this rolls up a lot of large themes into a very satisfying, if slight, production. The primary storyline is fun, although the humor can distract from some of the more serious storylines surrounding the family dynamics. And the playful handling of the "ending" is amusing and was probably fun to both write and realize, but it also makes the point of the movie feel less significant.

    It's hard to think of a single misstep or any moment that didn't feel authentic. My favorite aspects (in no particular order):
    - I loved the opening pre-credit sequence and how big it made the movie feel. This felt the most connected to the original film in both narrative and aesthetic, and made the world feel grand and magical (which also helped when a larger middle portion of the film takes place in dorm rooms and other small locations).
