More twists and wet clothes per minute than any film since the great train robbery got the movies going. A movie that has something for everybody, especially perverts who love bad like reads.

Spielberg may be one of cinemas most chaste directors. He makes Chris Columbus look like John Waters. I wish he watched less Cecil B DeMille and more Hitchcock growing up so there would be an ounce of horniness in any of his movies. Which is weird because half the movie is lit like a porno.
There’s adultery in this movie but we are assured nothing actually happened. De Palma caught his father cheating on his mom and thank god for that.
Lynch as John Ford is fun tho.
