A toast to life's ups and downs
Mads Mikkelsen is a powerhouse, bringing depth to a character navigating a midlife crises through, well, booze. The concept is intriguing, what if you were eternally tipsy. It takes a turn though, showing the darker side of this experiment.
Some scenes feel a bit stretched, like they're trying too hard to make a point, while other moments felt like they weren't explored enough.
All in all a compelling watch if not perfect; a look into human vulnerability and the quest for true happiness.

The neon-lit streets of Tokyo are an iconic backdrop for some of the most exhilarating drift races I've seen on screen. The film introduces us to a fresh-faced Sean Boswell, and his journey from an outsider to mastering the art of drifting is genuinely engaging. The soundtrack is Absolute fire, perfectly capturing the film's energy. You can't deny this movie for introducing drift races into popular culture.
