I was a little dubious of a Child's Play reboot, but truth be told, it was really well done. Bear McCreary's soundtrack was brilliant, Mark Hamill was the perfect choice for the Chucky voiceover role & Gabriel Bateman did an amazing job as Andy. A fresh & modern take on a horror classic which was much needed for this franchise. Highly recommended!

Ari Aster's sophomore feature is another slow-burner with plenty of foreshadowing and folklore to take in; culminating in a rather bleak, yet symbolic ending (for those who've seen Hereditary, you'd know what you're in for). I have been awaiting this film with much anticipation since it was first announced and it did not disappoint.
