Fanatical: The Catfishing of Tegan and Sara

    ★★★★

I loved Tegan & Sara growing up and I still consider them an influential band in shaping who I am today.

I had 0 idea about this type of fandom and insane story. From a documentary standpoint, Fanatical is pretty top notch and just laid out the facts with a small hint of feeling and emotion. This made it very digestible and not divisive like many docs can be these days. Highly recommend especially if you’re a fan of the band!

Poor Things is a darkly funny take on Frankenstein with a feminist twist. Emma Stone shines as Bella, a woman reborn who challenges societal norms. The film is visually stunning, with themes exploring identity, freedom, and what it truly means to be human. Worth the watch for the cinematic experience alone.

Even after several rewatches I am still swept away by the raw, honest portrayal of young love. Daisy Edgar-Jones & Paul Mescal deliver powerhouse performances that crackle with unspoken emotions.…
