Am I Racist? 2024
I had high hopes going into this one. But unfortunately the creators can't get out of their own way enough to let the content breathe and participants tie themselves in their own intellectual knots.
A nice concept, trying to tackle a valid and much needed discussion about the commercialisation and exploitation of racial political tensions.
But unfortunately the egos and inherent biases of Matt and the creators when going into this make it almost unwatchable for anyone going in with an open mind who isn't already 99% in the same camp as them.
Shame.

Boss Level 2021
Fun concept. Surprisingly well executed. If you forgive the low budget special effects, there's a lot to like in this decent, entertaining comedy action sci-fi flick. Don't get me wrong, it's not going to win any awards, but I would gladly rate this higher than Spielberg's Ready Player One catastrophe.

Beautifully funny and at the same time completely unbelievable... Until you Wikipedia it and realise it is very true. One of those moments in film when you scratch your head and wonder, "how did I not know about this?".
I honestly love how it has been directed and edited. The script and performances are so natural, realistic and relatable. Honestly a wonderful story.
Definitely recommend watching in the original Italian and with subtitles (unless you speak italian of course).
