Opus 2025
Beautifully shot movie, the cinematography was amazing at times and very good throughout. The score was thoughtful (and somewhat relaxing?), I would absolutely recommend. More thriller than horror though, I would say.
Ayo was excellent as expected. Main critique is mostly that the ending was half baked… I find it hard to believe that hundreds of cult members could successfully assimilate back into standard society without constant briefings or instruction from their idol, maybe they were getting paid during their years on the farm.
Moral of the story is to stay away from cults, even if you’re only documenting them.
