i’m severely homesick for istanbul so i really wanted to connect with this documentary. parts of it were beautiful, i saw places i’ve been to often and scenes that feel so familiar. but i wish it was done by someone who’s one of us instead of an annoying german guy who looks like a character from a famous turkish comedy tv series (no offense but maybe… offense?). also, i forgot how annoying musicians sound sometimes, forming a cohesive sentence is an impossible task but who am i to talk.. my fav part was the last 1/3 of it with orhan gencebay&sezen aksu.

OH MY GOD I cannot stop thinking about this movie. I was entertained, I was excited, I was invested. One of the best edging scenes in cinema (not sexual, or is it?). I would like to have more throuple and a little bit more Zendaya but I’ll be content with what I got.
The main complaint I have is that Zendaya LIED TO ME, saying you don’t have to know anything about tennis to see this movie because there were several points I was very confused and I’d like to see a tennis judge (or whatever they’re called) about it.
