  My parents and Angela made me watch it. It was good in it's own realm of musicals, but not my kind of movie. It was hard for me to stay in interested. I did however notice that Family Guy makes a lot of references to to this musical.

  This movie terrified me as a child! I was afraid of clowns after watching this for the first time. I watched it again recently and the terror doesn't hold up as when it was first seen. The creepiness of Penywise, though definitely does hold up. The re-make comes out this fall. No trailer has been released, but people who've seem the trailer say that it's terrifying.
