One of the more colorful and goofy of Wes Anderson’s. The animation from the roadrunner to the silly vending machines are really great.
The grief and the layering of the story feels a little more sloppy than Grand Budapest but i think rewatches will help with this.
Trains. Cocktail parties. A bunch of rich white people saying “look at our wonderful work” when they didn’t lay a single rail or spike.
Ayn Rand would be proud.
