I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Atmospheric, moody, and emotional. Hauntingly beautiful and uncomfortably relatable, it truly understands the transgender experience as well as the queer experience as a whole and presents it earnestly.
Like I said before, it's uncomfortable (and heavy) for sure, but it's never disrespectful. And truthfully, I don't think you can discuss the topics that I Saw The TV Glow does and not feel uncomfortable. It's relatable because of that discomfort.
This was the queer film of 2024 and deserves all the praise in the world.
Also, it's basically an American Denpa movie so that's a plus.

Cannibal Holocaust 1980
So much animal cruelty, I feel bad not only for the poor animals but the actors who were roped into doing the scenes (including that horrible turtle scene) without knowing that they would be killing them. Even without that, all the brutality, the violence, the rape, it serves no purpose other than to deliver a shallow message that really acts as nothing more than a sorry excuse for the shock value of the content. Stay away from this.
