The Miracle On 34th Street rules. It’s a whimsical holiday favorite that somehow also features a subplot focused on the politics of the New York Supreme Court and cinematography of New York City that looks like it’s from a Jules Dassin film. Edmund Gwenn is unbelievable in this movie. A classic.
