Absolute cinema. From the opening scene we're treated to the telling of a great story with fantastic acting by, quite frankly, everyone involved. Lily-Rose, in particular, was stellar throughout.
The ending? Beautiful. In a very odd kind of way, but... yeah, beautiful.

First time seeing it after 30 years (yeah, I feel bad) and I can say I get the appeal and honestly think it is underrated. People should maybe talk about this one the same way they talk about Silence of the Lambs, per example.
Great storytelling with some very good smart references and nice details around the number 7 and the seven deadly sins. The cast did a fantastic job too. Freeman, Brad and Spacey nailed their roles.
