Shouldn’t work, but somehow does. It is ambitious and honest enough to avoid the bland, dull, sanitized feel of biopics like Bohemian Rhapsody or A Complete Unknown. And of course, it flopped. Guess we won’t be seeing another biopic this bold and interesting anytime soon.
