Finally got round to finishing this trilogy.
Love really is finding someone who put ups with all your quirks and bullshit. And you both agreeing to play all the different games you play, whether it’s to entertain, defuse or learn from one another.
Always felt like the dialogue was a little bit jilted at times in this trilogy but maybe that’s part of its charm. Julie Delpy holds her fucking own in the second half of this movie especially. Testament to Linklater that you’re able to see both perspectives of the relationship so clearly -and that hotel scene onwards is wow.
