John Carney can do no wrong. I love the way he incorporates music in his storytelling. The music isn't just the OST, it's the heart of the film--and he executes it in a way that doesn't turn the whole thing into a musical. Just a very real picture of the rhythm of life.

Loving Vincent 2017
I will never forgive anyone who says that this movie is "meh" I don't understand how anyone could say that? Every single frame comes alive because every single stroke is painted in--each frame comes from the hands of many different artists--so many hearts touching one beautiful film about a man who felt deeply and tenderly.
The way they handled and shed light on Gogh's mental illness was spot on and is so relevant today where mental health is getting attention.
Vincent Van Gogh deserved better. Nuff said.
