Marcel the Shell with Shoes On 2021
🐚 Even the most open-minded person might be skeptical about buying a ticket to see a live-action movie about a talking shell with a one googly eye wearing tiny tennis shoes. It’s just not an image one easily gets their head around. And yet, about 45 seconds into that movie—appropriately titled Marcel the Shell With Shoes On—any skepticism or doubt instantly melts away and you’ll wish you bought even more tickets, brought even more friends, and could start all over again…

Men 2022
Alex Garland's latest film "Men" tackles the subjects of trauma, toxic masculinity, and misogyny head-on. Like his previous two films, "Ex Machina" and "Annihilation", "Men" is original and thoroughly thought-provoking.

Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
A modern masterpiece.
Run, don’t walk, to see this film.A truly simple tale about acceptance, forgiveness, and universal suffering presented through a mind-fuck multiverse full of stunning visuals, extraordinary special effects, brilliantly choreographed fight scenes, and some of the best acting from an ensemble cast that I’ve seen in a very long while.
I really, really, really hope come awards season this film isn’t overlooked. It has the potential to be nominated for Best Picture, Actress, Supp. Actor/Actress, Visual…

The Northman 2022
Nicole Kidman was fantastic and serves an unpredictable and engrossing performance throughout.
Skarsgaard’s performance was as strong as his chiseled jacked-up muscles. He is also an executive producer on the film and it shows through his dedication to the role.
Taylor-Joy was a delight as was Dafoe in their supporting roles.
And Björk, while only in the film for about 3 minutes, made you grasp on to every word she spoke.
Visually stunning, highly recommended.
