The Killer 2023
Am I the only one who didn't enjoy The Killer?
This film has been made several times. There was nothing compelling about it. A waste of effort.

The Women of Brewster Place 1989
Every gay man has a strong black woman inside him. 1989s Oprah Winfry vehicle features absolutely every working black actress during that time and recall being a mesmerized 6 year old eating it up. There's a parallel oppression of black women and gay men and looking back at this bleak women drama I can understand what I saw in it. Black women live some of the loneliest lives and have some of the strongest backs that bare some of the hardest burdens. Alone. I think that resonates with gay men. The acting is fantastic. But be prepared to be bummed the hell out.

In a Glass Cage 1986
It's bleak Vistas submerge you in the darkest of dark oceans and the most hollow of cold sky and its mesmerizing. It's also a beautiful film you don't necessarily want others to know you've enjoyed because it's contents are so corrosive.
