  This movie has a lot to say… even though I have no idea what it’s trying to say.

  Clear motifs of consumerism as a creature comfort (though the movie seems neutral on this). The power of suggestion and its relationship to fear of death. Hitler. Elvis.

  But also what the hell is with this line delivery? The doctor scene for example - why is everyone constantly in a discourse? It’s clearly intentional and I’m too dumb to understand it.
