There’s a lot to unpack here. Bottom line: Media is taking over our lives, the least we can do is be conscious of how it keeps us glued. This should be a required viewing for EVERYONE.

This is my second time watching this, and I think it gets better the more I watch it because of its poetry. Visually, audibly and emotionally this movie is heartbreaking. So well written and I'm often not a fan of flashbacks, but these felt coherent and satisfying. I feel like they helped me understand Lee as a character better than if it was a linear telling.

Wow. I did not expect to enjoy this movie as much as I did. To be fair, I didn’t know much about the film going in, but I heard the cinematography was great. I honestly was under the impression that I was going to just see the visuals and neglect the subtitles entirely. However, the slow pace editing gave enough time to appreciate the shots while also being immersed into the story.
