Holy Cow Daniel Day Lewis is intense here! And in a really great way from beginning to end. Paul Dano held his own very well. The tone, the wide still shots and the composition all pushed this movie in to greatness for me.

Just rewatched this movie and was really impressed on how well it still holds up 25 years later. An epic family tale, well acted and beautifully shot. Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins had great father son chemistry.

John Candy was a gem! I love almost every movie he's in. This is a great and classic. Raising a family is very challenging and trying to please everyone makes it that must harder. But that's where alot of the humor in this movie lies - we laugh because we can relate. The movie is absurd at times but has a great heart and one of America's treasures - John Candy. Never fall asleep at the beach in the sun and never get an air cast 😂
