  This movie feels long but it's not at only 96mins. I think it's a good story but overall was just meh. I couldn't stand the actress playing the daughter and I felt William Hurt was miscast.

  This movie starts out as offensive but then as you get to know the likable characters it lessens. Well, it doesn't really lessen you just get used to it/ start to accept it. This movie had me audibly saying "What the fuck?!" and "holy shit" more times than I can count but somehow at the end it's heartwarming. I don't know what I am talking about this movie has me all sorts of confused.

  This was my introduction to Kaitlyn Dever and holy cow, she is a powerhouse. This movie is a bit heavy handed and the aliens don't look great, it really isn't about them anyway. Great tension and overall good story.
