The 3rd Sonic movie dares to answer the question: what could be better than Jim Carrey Robotnik? Two Jim Carrey Robotniks. And they were right. Shadow is a great addition too. I'm so glad they made the correct decision of leaving the human characters to the sidelines this time. Easily the best one so far, I'd be interested to see if the team behind this series can top it.

The Substance 2024
I haven’t felt this strongly about a movie in a LONG time. The Substance doesn’t give a FUCK in the best possible way. It’s always in your face and I absolutely adore how it doesn’t hold back. The phenomenal practical effects and makeup aside, there’s something about this campy/cheesy direction and editing that just works. Clearly it’s visually loud, but also the over-the-top performances and callbacks to obvious plot points create an unforgettably charming vibe that I didn’t know I needed.
