Totally in love with Jane's vision, what a treat it is to see somebody this talented trailblaze queer filmmaking. I can't speak to the trans experience but still found loads to unpack and relate to here, and you won't get everything on the first watch.
We're finally getting 90s/2000s period movies and, just like in 'World's Fair', the fidelity and authenticity of the recreations are lazer sharp with the more unsettling childhood vignettes and TV show footage feeling like dry-needling.…
