The movie was cute !Not crazy amazing, but also not as bad as I expected from online criticism. ‘Waiting on a Wish’ was almost too powerful too early—it kinda made everything after feel flat? But props to Rachel Zegler, she really has that Disney princess voice down 👸

The film showcases one of the many heart wrenching realities of Afghan families, through the eyes of a wise young girl. This will probably keep me up at night just thinking about how people, most especially women and children, are treated this way at the other side of the world. I wish I could properly express what I am feeling now right after watching the film, but I can’t seem to at the moment. Maybe I’ll update this review soon.

Watched this on the plane to Japan and tears were definitely shed. Recommended my plane seatmate to watch this during my next flight and she shed them as well haha!
