Every time I rewatch this I forget that Mr Orange is one the few morally upright characters in any of Tarantino’s films. My man is bleeding profusely from a stomach wound the entire runtime and still manages to cement himself as the goat. Fucking chad.

I cannot overstate how goated this is. As a kid I was entertained because it was fun. As an adult I’m entertained because they made one of the darkest superhero movies of all time and disguised it as something for children. The absolute mad men.

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
Disney, word of advice, if you spoil the film’s best and only consequential moment in all the trailers after realising no one will be interested, probably best you then rewrite the film so that it’s not treated as some massive twist when Harrison Ford turns into Red Hulk.
Also, whoever decided Red Hulk should even be here, you shouldn’t have a job. Two Hulk villains and this is a Captain America film? Is that purely because you’ve already destroyed Hulk’s character at this point but still wanted to do Red Hulk for a bit of cheap hype? You wasteful little bastard, you disgust me.

Every now and then I am reminded of the fact that I watched this at 12 years old and promptly had a lengthy discussion about how fucked up it with my high school teacher the next day who promptly recommended me a load of other films like it that I didn’t bother with…
I should really have that guy arrested now that I think about it.
