  What an insane ride. Maybe the most expressive and funniest animation movie I’ve seen. The entire first act had me laughing my akka off. The second act then turns in this weird, wholesome survivor film and smoothly transitions in the cathartic third act: an ode to everyday life, somehow both abstract and intimate. Absolutely loved this and I wasn't even high!

  The Super Mario Bros. Movie experience at DaVinci Cinema Goes:

  -They accidentally started the Dutch dub, so after a few minutes I almost choked eating popcorn because Kamek uttered the first audible line in a high pitched Dutch shriek. 

  -They announced there would be a break halfway through, but I think they forgot about it so they just manually paused the movie at the most random frame possible and kept the projector running.
