  This Film was recommended to me as a part of The Film Discord’s roulette.

  This film has been on my radar/watchlist for what must have been years now, and I’m glad that I finally found a reason to watch it. Not like it needed a reason. I knew very little about F for Fake. Other than it’s an Orson Wells film and that is has something to do with trickery.

  Pieles or Skins in English is a very strange movie. TL;DR of review at the bottom.

  Written and directed by Eduardo Casanova, it is his first feature length film. He has done a number of short films I will probably check eventually. And only at age 26 he looks to be very promising. The plot is pretty simplistic. It follows a number of people with various deformities trying to find happiness.

  First of all, if you are planning on watching this be warned! This movie is definitely not for everyone. This movie can be categorized as 'Slow Cinema'. Which is some call 'pretentious', and I get that.
