  bajillion rewatch. reflecting on how my first watch of this movie was when i was 16 with no prior knowledge or any lived experience of relationships emanating feelings of the “dining dead”. somehow though i was incredibly moved by it, being media influenced i then hyperfixated on it for the next few years. this movie holds so much more meaning to me now. the script is so so entirely intriguing to read. stage directions like “their acting becomes anemic” and…

  so no one is talking abt how the score shares melodies from la la land. beautiful film, thoroughly enjoyed the first two hours, slightly confused towards the end. appreciate it regardless, guess this is cinema !
