The style of humor isn't for everyone but there can be no doubt that this is a very cohesive and beautifully shot indie. The costume design, cinematography, and art direction are exceptional, and the impact that this movie made on pop culture is quite impressive. Also, I find it fuckin hilarious.

Grey Gardens 1975
For some reason this documentary is possibly one of the most interesting I've ever seen. Not very much happens in it, but it is just a fascinating and beautiful look into the challenges of mental health and family relationships. I watched it a year ago and still think about it often. Its a documentary that you really won't be able to help but deeply reflect on.
