Rewatching this in anticipation of the sequel coming out, and I was quite pleasantly surprised with how well it holds up at home. I was worried that not seeing it on a big screen would diminish some of spectacle, but it still feels as vast, beautifully desolate, and striking as it did in the cinema.
For such a capital 'C' cinematic film, it's amazing how it doesn't get lost in its own sauce of scenery, and still manages to tell a complicated story of a complicated world in an interesting way.
Only made me more excited for Dune 2/ D-two-ne/ Two-ne
