Like Metropolis before it, The Wizard of Oz creates incredible set-pieces that are more believable and immersive than the CGI crap we see today. Although the last half of the film becomes a little rushed and preoccupied with tying things up, this is a film rightly considered a classic.

All Stirred Up! 2024
A warm comedy about cooking, competitions, and border control. Importantly, the comedy works. It comes off a bit too safe and formulaic, but it's a sweet time at the cinemas.
