I don't know if the live-action version of Kim Possible led to the career end for all the actors, the director, and the screenwriter who worked on it, but the negative reviews are highly exaggerated. Everything is respected: the actors are fully committed, the characters and sets are extremely faithful to the animated series... I went in with low expectations and ended up being very pleasantly surprised.
The only negative points: the Kimmunicator, Wallace's Nickelodeon-like interface, and the absence of Monique.
