  I really wanted to like this movie. On paper it sounds like my kind of movie. Even after the bad reviews I went in hoping it was like many movies that got trashed that I enjoyed.
  But the only bright spot in this was Adam Driver is always great. It's too bad he got stuck in a pile of garbage like this movie.

  I probably would have enjoyed this more if it was promoted to be what it actually is.
  What is it? 10% of the movie is a sci-fi about the year 2073 and 90% is a documentary. 2073 might have been a really good movie if it had chosen one or the other but it tried to do two things at once and didn't do either one very well.
  I hope one day studios will learn to promote movies for what they actually are.
  It isn't bad for what it is, but I can't imagine many people will watch this movie more than once.

  The Edge 1997

  This is my favorite movie. It isn't some masterpiece or anything but it's a really fun survival/adventure movie, it's been my comfort movie and I think it's one of the best survival movies ever made plus it's beautifully shot.
  Both Hopkins and Baldwin do a great job in this movie, although Bart the bear clearly steals the show (Yes it's a real bear not CGI like it would be if made today) and honorable mention to Harold Perrineau who's under rated.
  So If you enjoy "lost in the wild" movies and you don't mind suspending some disbelief, this is one of the best.

  Monsters: Dark Continent 2014

  I've been looking forward to this movie ever since it was announced and man did it ever... disappoint. It started out pretty good but the longer the movie went on the less it focused on the Monsters and the more it was just another movie about the War overseas. The very last minute or so was pretty cool but that was about it.
