Past Lives: A Disservice to Present Nora
Past Lives written and directed by Celine Song had been described by many as a heart wrenching love story, likened to other famous melancholic romantic films such as In The Mood for Love (which I vehemently disagreed with a heavy side of bias being a Wong Kar-Wai fan). The film seemed to be semi autobiographical of Song’s life, and therein lies many of its problems in my opinion.
