  This was a treat! Packaging the themes of empowerment and independence in the way the filmmakers did was so much fun. Plus, Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid are giving great performances, holding the movie together. The jokes are really funny too, throw in some intense sequences and emotionally powerful scenes as well. Glad Companion didn’t fly under my radar.

  Does a good job of avoiding the major cliches that biopics are known for. I enjoy that we see only a few important eras of Dylan to show who he was, and give the audience time to get to know the character. Timothee Chalamet does a great job as Dylan, blurring the line between actor and character. It is unfortunate in the way the the film plays with historical accuracy, and censors such an iconic moment at the end though.

  This is movie is such a delight, and is able to convey so much, and the fact that most of the dialogue is from two robots that don’t speak English is a testament to the power of WALL-E. Wall-e and Eve have such a beautiful relationship too.
