  it’s been a long time since Pixar films drew my interest and this really did not disappoint. So nice to see something from a fresh team who I hope are given the opportunity to make more on the strength of this.

  While this was a film which purposefully makes us uncomfortable by analysing men’s attitudes & perceived ownership of women, the infantilisation of women, sexual politics between the genders, grooming & abuse including its connection with Western imperialism towards the end, ultimately I can safely say from experience: 

  If a woman’s last name is Baxter she is probably quite strange.
