It really is such a sweet celebration for Disney's 100th anniversary. I could have watched a 22-minute or even 44-minute long special with all of these characters together in all honesty.

    Salt

    ★★½

I thought Salt was awesome when I saw it in theaters back in 2010.

Boy, do I not feel that same way 15 years later...

I'm disappointed with how cliched and underdeveloped the story was. There is some fun-ish moments (even though the editing and camera work can get in the way), and I do think Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, and Chiwetel Ejiofor are still putting very solid work into their roles. I just wasn't really feeling the stakes, because of how rushed it felt. It did not hold up for me.

I will do the same thing that a couple of friends are doing which is leaving this…

In the Heights can feel a bit lengthy with its 2 hour 23 minute runtime but overall, it really is everything I could ask for since it is my most anticipated movie of the entire summer. Very strong performances, spectacular musical numbers, dazzling cinematography, and great storytelling makes it worthy of the hype. Hopefully, the rest of the summer movie season can be consistent with good to great movies but I am happy to say (since I saw an advance…
