  Had fun with this one. Lots of kaiju action, and thankfully not too much of the Russ Tamblyn/monster back story.   The “Frankenstein”s aren’t gonna win any kaiju awards, but lots of wrasslin’ and falling buildings is a win.

  Bad, but not even enjoyable in a good bad kinda way.

  Elvis is hard to watch. He’s bloated, stiff, glazed, and just going through the motions. 

  The design, costumes, and cinematography are fantastic, Unfortunately the songs and musical segments are half-assed throwaways.

  This was a very pleasant surprise. A slow-burn psychological horror movie with a dreamlike-feel and atmosphere for days.  Reminds me of another movie that I really like, which also got lukewarm ratings, Darkness. Recommended!
